The defects behind the cladding.
The regulator has made its expectation clear: the internal condition of a building's passive and active fire measures is now expected to be identified and evidenced alongside cladding works — not just the façade. Its position, in substance: a building built badly in one respect is unlikely to have been built well in the others.
Behind the plasterboard commonly sit unsealed penetrations, missing cavity barriers and compartment lines that were never continuous. We find them, record them, and evidence the fix — and we independently verify new work matches the design it was approved on.
